Usher and Chris Brown open a five-night run at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium tonight on The R&B Tour. The dates are 5, 6, 8, 10 and 11 November. Doors for the opening night are at 6pm, with the show at 7:30pm.

According to Mercedes-Benz Stadium's 17 August release, they are the first tour to play five dates at the venue in one stop, breaking Beyoncé's previous mark of four shows on the Cowboy Carter tour in 2025. A fifth night (5 November) was added then because of overwhelming demand, and the 7 November date was moved to 6 November. By that announcement, 6 and 8 November were sold out, with limited inventory left for the 10th and 11th.

Ron Laffitte, Usher's manager, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the timing finally lined up after plans had been discussed for nearly a decade and only came together in February. "I think the timing felt right for everybody because they were both riding separate, incredible waves of success," he said. Brown, 37, was coming off another Grammy and his first stadium tour. Usher, 48, had a Las Vegas residency, a Super Bowl halftime show, Coming Home and a global arena run behind him.

After Atlanta the tour goes to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on 15 and 16 November. The pair already topped Billboard's September Top Tours chart with $77.4 million and 423,000 tickets across 10 shows — covered here in our earlier Boxscore piece — and the Atlanta residency is the hometown peak of that run.

Guest speculation stays off the page until names are confirmed. Five nights of R&B in a football stadium is the story for now.
