This week's five Come Up picks are drawn from Spotify's Fresh Finds R&B playlist. Each entry names the release that put the artist on our radar, with a link to hear it.

01. Qiuntellii

Atlanta singer Qiuntellii released Room Service on October 30 via Courtesy Of Records. The 10-track set runs on late-night R&B; the standout cut on Fresh Finds is "J.L.U" with BJRNCK. Apple Music frames him as checking in over sultry grooves. He came up through church and musical theatre, went viral on Fox's The Four with Usher's "U Got It Bad", and has writing credits tied to records by Chris Brown, Eric Bellinger, Moneybagg Yo and Yung Bleu. Earlier single "Just Like You" drew a Tory Lanez remix.

02. Chuka, The Destroyer

Los Angeles singer, writer and producer Chuka, The Destroyer put out the six-track Eye 2 Eye EP on October 23 through OCKTAM Records. "Clarity" is covering Fresh Finds this week. A three-part visual trilogy around "LAW", "I's Role" and "Private" frames the project. Niji Magazine notes he is 23, Nigerian-American, born in Carson, California, and has passed 20 million streams since 2022, with playlist support including Our Generation and Fresh Finds R&B.

03. Khal!l

Milwaukee singer, writer and producer Khal!l released Oh, The Doubt Among Us on October 23 and is billing it as his official debut, after 2023's Heart. CLEAN Music Mag reports he recorded much of it in an old church his godmother opened for him in Milwaukee, and that he produced, mixed and mastered the set himself. "IF ONLY" rides a mid-90s East Coast bounce into soulful R&B and is the Fresh Finds cut.

04. Summer Joy

Nashville R&B singer Summer Joy came up on French horn in Columbia, Tennessee, then studied at Belmont. WOOSTER and WPLN both flag her preference for live players over laptop-only sessions. Her March EP Lessons in Love ran about 13 minutes. Over the summer a live TikTok flip of Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" reached Rod Wave, who put her recording at the top of his August album Don't Look Down. New single "moving on" is on Fresh Finds and picking up spins on WNXP and KCRW.

05. Oshun Grizzly

Johannesburg alternative R&B artist and producer Oshun Grizzly released "Call Me If You Need Me" on October 22 with Yolophonik and D3NZL. SlikourOnLife reports it as the first single from an album due in January 2027. His catalogue moves between alt-R&B, neo-soul and jazz, with digitally altered vocals as a signature. The new cut is high on Fresh Finds this week.
