Snoh Aalegra's first album in five years, “Legendary Love”
13 tracks, out November 13, with Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raphael Saadiq and Nile Rodgers in the credits.
Snoh Aalegra is back. Her fourth album, Legendary Love, arrives November 13 via Stem. It's her first since 2021's Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies.
It runs 13 tracks, written and recorded over two and a half years "with a single muse in mind". Alongside longtime collaborator Joel Compass, the credits include Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raphael Saadiq, Nile Rodgers, Daniel Caesar, Dahi and Mustafa.
"This love brought me back to the era of music I fell in love with growing up," she said. You can hear it on "I Love You", an '80s-inspired groove with Rodgers on guitar and Saadiq on bass. "Karma" (Oct 14) opened the era, and "Just Friends" followed on Oct 28.
