Louis York's “The Heart of the Matter”
Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony's third album as Louis York is out today on Weirdo Workshop. The 14-track set follows August's "I Found a Home" and 2024's Songs With Friends.
Louis York's third studio album, The Heart of the Matter, is out today on Weirdo Workshop. Apple Music lists the 14-song set with a November 6, 2026 release.
Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony — the New York and East St. Louis writers behind hits for artists including Fantasia, Bruno Mars and Rihanna — frame the project as New American Soul. Rated R&B announced the album in August with lead single "I Found a Home", a thank-you to Nashville, where the pair relocated more than a decade ago.

Kelly and Harmony have talked about writing from the heart after years of writing for other stars. The Heart of the Matter is the album that puts that claim on the calendar.
