BigXthaPlug tops Apple Music's US albums chart with “Better Over Time”
18 tracks, GloRilla on "FAF", Leon Thomas on "NO LIMIT" — and the top spot on Apple Music's US albums chart all weekend.
Dallas didn't just host the R&B festival this weekend, it owned the albums chart too. BigXthaPlug's fourth album, BETTER OVER TIME, arrived on Friday, October 30 via 600 Ent and UnitedMasters and went straight to No. 1 on Apple Music's US albums chart, where chart trackers have it holding from October 31 through November 3.
It's 18 tracks deep. GloRilla jumps on "FAF", which got an official visualiser on release day. Leon Thomas, one of R&B's biggest stories of the last two years, turns up on "NO LIMIT", and Lil Yachty and Babyface Ray share "BELIEVE".

The Leon Thomas link is the one we're watching. Texas rap and R&B have always been close cousins, and the right singer on a hook can turn a street record into a radio record.
First-week Billboard numbers land next week. Our guess? He'll be loud on that chart too.
